A Program Director with General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), Melissa Frye is a resilient, forward-thinking leader with a passion for service. She leads a multibillion-dollar program in support of the Department of State Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS). In this role, Melissa leads high-performing teams supporting a portfolio of 30 Security Services projects, a 24/7/365 Global Customer Service Center, Program Management Office, and program-wide international travel for logistics support and armored vehicle maintenance. 
 
Most recently, Melissa led the creation of an efficient, flexible methodology to execute the project management lifecycle with the customer yielding $150M growth over two years in support of DS communication, facility, and vehicle security posture worldwide.  
 
In her personal and professional life Melissa models the motto from her alma mater, Virginia Tech; Ut Prosim (That I May Serve). She served on the Alzheimer’s Association RivALZ Executive Committee, National Contracts Management Association (NCMA) council and was recently elected to serve as the co-lead of GDIT’s For Women’s Advancement Recognition and Development (ForWARD) Employee Resource Group.  
 
Melissa lives with her loving husband and greatest accomplishments to date, her two young daughters.
